Applebee's vs. Chili's

Hi y’all,

So for those who know me know that I love food to the fullest. The amour of it. The spell of it. And the presentation of it.  All I sense excite moving around with such frantics. So my friends have been telling that I should start a food blog. With hesitation I have been like “I don’t know if people would read it.” In any case I am diving in to write about my excitement for the food in which I have enjoyed and so me of the dishes, I am sure that many of you would either agree with me or not. However the case I would also like to know what are some of your favorite places to go your favorite dishes. Including the one made at home.

So to start I am going to writing and compare the difference in the chicken and pasta plate for both Applebee’s and Chili’s. Applebee’s Three-Cheese Chicken Penne pasta and Chili’s Cajun Chicken Pasta, two dishes that I Love depending on which location for the both of them that I am at at that time. What I mean by that is I love the Applebee’s in Arlington on Cooper St., however, I don’t like the Applebee’s in Rowlett on Lake Parkway, they may have to same receipt of that dishes however the taste is not the same.

But let me not talk about locations because I am sure that everyone has their favorite location between these franchises. Let’s talk about these two dishes:

Applebee’s Three-Cheese Chicken Penne Pasta

To describe this dish let me start with the Penne pasta.  It is about an inch and half long with ringgits to hold whatever sauce that it is dating at the time.  From various tomatoes sauces to an oil olive sauce, but in this case it is dating a beauty Alfredo sauce.  The Alfredo sauce here is light and buttery tasting. If you are going to do a sauce like this then be sure to pair it with a juicy grilled chicken breast which adds full favor to the Alfredo sauce. The light tomato garish goes good with this dish and it also came with a long fresh out of the oven garlic bread. I don’t eat bread a lot but this case, hell yeah! All I was missing was a good huge glass of red wine.

Chili’s Cajun Chicken Pasta

Now I have to describe this dish would have to done in a total different way because there a slight similarity with a huge different.  That difference being the sauce: it is an Alfredo sauce with spices and it is a little thicker then what the normal light and buttery Alfredo sauce would be.  You can taste the hint of something in the sauce but I know that I can not describe that spice and it is an attractive spice. The chicken here is also beautifully grilled with a sprinkle of paprika on top of it. (Or at least I think it is paprika, I could be wrong.) However it goes nicely with the garish of the dice tomatoes and green onions on top of the dish.  Oh course, the datable Penne pasta is also used in this dishes making it a good texture choose with this Alfredo sauce here. It went well with my President margarita. Haha haha.

But of the two dishes, it was the Penne pasts from Applebee’s that had me having gasms in the restaurant and at the time all I needed was a pillow and blanket.

Until the next dish. . . . .
